We spent 6 and a half weeks in Europe, and this place was our favourite stay of the entire trip by far.
The location of this accommodation is great, note that there is only one restaurant in easy walking distance so if you are staying here we would strongly recommend hiring a car, as this gives you great access to the whole island, there is plenty of parking and it is only a 5 minute drive from Adamas and 7 minute drive from Sarakiniko beach.
We cannot speak highly enough of the hostess Jo. On arrival she met at a time that suited us at short notice to help check us in, and went above and beyond to provide us with some amazing recommendations across the whole island for beaches, food, and experiences. All of the staff here were very kind and helpful.
The accommodation itself was amazing. It was beautifully decorated, spacious, clean and well equipped. The bed was comfy, you get a whole walk in wardrobe, and the balcony was large with great seating and afternoon/evening sun, you also get an allocated pool lounger which gets great sun all day. One of our favourite parts of the stay was the amazing sunset views you get from here.
I could go on and on. We cannot recommend this place highly enough, and we cannot wait to come back. 11/10 :)

Location was excellent. Close to restaurants and bus stop. Comfy bed, lots of hot water. Very modern equipment.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Great accommodation, new and well maintained. Located in a very quiet location and you are surrounded by chickens, goats, cats, … Only reachable by car and there are no restaurants or shops nearby.
The hosts are exceptional, very lovely and welcoming. Upon our arrival bread, cake, fruit, home-grown tomatoes and home made olive oil were waiting for us.
Avra and her son Manos are both lovely and accommodating persons. They made sure our stay is comfortable. They can be contacted easily in case you need anything during your stay. The place was peaceful, clean and has basic amenities. The bed was comfortable. The location is a 3 minute drive from the airport. It was a very relaxing stay. Good value for money. Don't forget to say Hi to their cute dog!
Avra is a great host, very kind and attentive. She sat down with us and told us about the island. The room was spotless with new towels every day. It’s a quiet place and we had the best time! Thank you Avra!
Great stay in this beautiful flat. Everything is new and very well kept. It is very quiet, there is no noise at all which allows you to rest very well. Best of all the kindness of the hosts and their attention. We were warmly welcomed with fruit, homemade cakes and water. Every day they also brought us a surprise such as eggs from their hens or figs. No doubt if we return to Milos we will come back again.
We stayed 4 nights at Olive Cottage , it is located in a charming countryside area , in the middle of the olive trees, but still quitte close from Adamas , the main city .
Landscapes around are very nice , the place is very quite, no noise at all , the cottage is well equipped and you can eat outside in the shade and enjoy the terrasse . The owner is very nice, gave us very delicious figs from the garden and provided useful advices on places to see , activities , restaurants . A great place to stay !
The location is lovely in the tranquil inland area with a natural breeze - which we enjoyed a lot! Recommend to rent a car or a motorbike to access the beaches and hiking area - but it was not a big hustle for us. We appreciated Pantalera and Maria's hospitality throughout our stay!! The house was equipped very well - like we were living there.
There are more luxurious accommodations on Milos, but I'm sure none have more heart. Avra takes care of the rooms as well as the relationship with the guests, with infinite affection. We have spent a week there, everything impeccable, change of sheets and towels regularly, pleasant spaces, ideal location to get to know the island. We will be back for sure!
The personnelle working at Avra was incredible! Accommodating, kind, and helpful. You felt extremely welcome and right at home. The room was spacious, and you also had access to an outdoor area where we used to sit and enjoy the afternoon sun. As it was located outside of the centre of town, you had peace and quiet and beautiful views.
We fell in love with the tiny house which is located at a very quiet place at the island. The owner and the host have done a great job and made or holidays and stay to an exciting moment. We thank you very much. if we will have the chance we will definitely book it again….lovely place.
