We stayed in a little bungalow in the ground with a beautiful shady terrace overlooking the countryside and sea. It was a studio room with a small bathroom. The kitchen was tiny but enough for a few days. We loved the terrace and the bed was large and comfortable. The grounds, buildings and plants were beautiful. Lakithra is a very pretty area and it's not far driving to the sandy beaches. A car is needed.
The location is close to the famous beaches, 10-15'.

I booked it on the day of my arrival, and was pleasantly surprised. It has a fantastic view, is quiet, nice pool and good BBQ facilities. You need a car, but even on foot there are restaurants, cafes, and a supermarket within 5 minutes.
The rooms were very tidy and clean, plenty of space in all. From the terrace there is a wonderful view, there is a large table with chairs where you can admire the landscape in the mornings and evenings. The yard is large and well-kept, children can play peacefully. Outside there is a large barbecue, where in the evening one can sit and eat in peace. I was able to charge my hybrid car. The hostess could learn a little better English.
We spent just one night here en route from Ithaka to the airport, but it far exceeded our expectations. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, the pool is gorgeous with a bar restaurant that does very nice food and our room was perfect - very big with a kitchenette and a peaceful terrace with a view of the sea. It's in a very elevated position and if you look over the edge, there's a brilliant view of the airport.
Great location, quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately Europe couldn’t attend to meet us but her son Peter went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. He explains the best places to see, eat and sunbath as well as all the local amenities.
The villa was spacious for the 4 of us, the pool was great and the sun terrace and views were amazing.
Everything. The location is amazing, quiet and peaceful. You can reach Avithos and nearby beaches in a matter of 10-15 minutes by car. Argostoli or Lassi are basically at the same distance, use the road in front of the property to get to Argostoli, thus having the best view of the island when leaving Lakhitra.
Our host, Eleni, did her best to make our stay as pleasurable as possible and not to miss anything. We really appreciate her efforts and responsiveness.
The Aria studios are spacious and spotlessly clean.The studios have a quiet peaceful atmosphere, it's like having your own villa.Thalia the owner is lovely and will do anything to help you.If you want to explore the island ,transport is required if not sit back relax and enjoy the quiet village life.
Perfect first night in Cephalonia. Nestled amongst the olive trees, on the edge of the village, we were sorry not to stay longer. Peaceful. Quiet. Fabulous pool and garden. Very near airport yet lovely surrounds with far reaching views. Authentic, friendly taverna nearby.
