Amazing location on the same site as Marwell Zoological Park. Was a very quiet and peaceful resort - especially loved hearing the animals at night from the zoo. Very family friendly - bar and restaurant area were well looked after. Room was spacious.
The look of the property from the outside is very nice, it’s surrounded by trees and woodland which makes it very quiet and peaceful!
The staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of big windows which let in lots of light and surrounded by nature.
The location was brilliant right in the centre of the city and in a lovely building with a large well kept garden, a peaceful and quiet place. Breakfast was in a conservatory overlooking the garden and the cooked breakfast option was tasty, and the pastries and croissants were also nice. The rooms were large, comfortable and ours looked out onto the garden. The bathroom was clean and spacious with both a bath and powerful shower.
The staff were polite and helpful the location was lovely set in the countryside and opposite Marwell zoo, which is great for families visiting the area. The rooms were spacious and it was peaceful and quiet at night time, so we slept well.
A luxurious room in an ancient pub - and wow the food! Loved every moment of the stay with friendly staff and surrounded by pictures on the walls depicting the pub's ancient past. Comfy bed, peaceful night (it is in a rural village after all). Lovely walks around the area. Plenty of room in the car park.
