Lovely quiet location, beautiful countryside. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and very comfortable. Lots of options for breakfast. Great value for money!
The setting is exceptional. Quiet country retreat, main building full of original features, feeling of staying in a classic 60s country hotel. Breakfasts were excellent, staff were a delight, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are comfortable - this is is not a 5 star hotel but the furnishings were above our expectations. The countryside around is unspoiled and beautiful, Galloway is a secret the Scots appear to want to keep to themselves.... ;-)
Staff were excellent nothing was to much trouble.Ann was so friendly and told us about nice places to visit. Very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was excellent.

The staff couldn't do anymore to welcome us. The place is so peaceful and was excellent value for money! Breakfast was amazing and plentiful. Very clean too. Its a very quiet location which was perfect for a great night sleep.

it was convenient for the ferry at Cairnryan, it was secluded enough to be quiet but not too far from the town. it was a quaint country house, staff were friendly, it was very clean and the breakfast was delicious 💕
