Beautiful setting. That's the only good thing we can say about this place, and it has nothing to do with the hotel itself. Our experience there was such a nightmare that it did make going home easy, so I guess that's a plus. If you're looking for a place to stay that will kill your desire for travel and adventure, this is the place for you!

It I could give the Pine Tree Hotel a higher rating - I would. It far exceeded all expectations. It is a beautiful appointed and charming manor home with gorgeous grounds, and lovely rooms. The staff was fantastic, friendly and fun, and the food was out of this world. I truly did not want to leave.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
The place was wonderful. Very friendly and attentive staff. Not stuffy. Wonderful bar and restaurant. Amazing rooms and gardens. So quiet. Great for touring Scotland
Lovely!!! To stay in a castle is amazing. The grounds were gorgeous, we don’t play golf but walking around the golf course was stunning nonetheless. The castle was quiet at most times. The rooms were decorated timely.
Nice estate grounds against a scenic backdrop. Helpful staff and good food. While the decor is exactly what I expected for a rustic countryside property, the bathrooms could do with an update.
All the meals we had were excellent as was the service provided. The hotel had great ambience and the location, for us, was excellent. Very quiet and peaceful.
