Firstly the price was very good. The room itself wasn't luxurious but had everything required. Bed was comfortable shower good and incuded complimentary gels. It was quiet and the building felt safe. We had breakfast which was excellent, much better than the 4 star hotel we just left in Edinburgh. Also very close to Old Course for golf fans.
Stunning views to the sea from the huge glass windows, tastefully furnished with everything we needed for our 3 night stay including a great gas BBQ. Quiet and peaceful and a great place for wildlife spotting. We saw deer twice as well as rabbits and plenty of birds. It was also on the bus route for St Andrews which meant we could leave our motorhome parked up and enjoy a few drinks with our meals out.
Room was very comfortable and tidy, breakfast was fantastic and the surrounding area was so peaceful and quiet. Mike and Sam were wonderful hosts and made me feel so welcomed, going above and beyond!
Spotlessly clean and comfortable chalet with super friendly and helpful staff. Booked for two night stay during daughters graduation. Not too far from centre of St Andrews - about a 7 min car journey. Very peaceful and quiet. Tea and coffee were provided, which was a nice touch. Would be very relaxing for a longer stay, wish we could have stayed on.

We had an early tee time start and the hotel was very kind and thoughtful to help to prepare breakfast packs for us. Much appreciated!
The whole experience was fantastic. The Bothy was cleverly designed and had everything we needed for a peaceful, quiet couple of days. Arranging the weather was also a bonus :)
