Find the country houses that appeal to you the most
Looking for a country house?
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Great location, it was very quiet and peaceful; The host was amazing, great communication and clear instructions on how to use the hot tub/speaker, as well as instruction (with pictures!) of how to get to the property which was very much appreciated :) Loved the hot tub as well as the Shepherd's Hut itself, very cozy and comfortable, very clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils and appliances. We also got to meet and pet a very friendly cat :D
Everyone in our party commented on the high standards of cleanliness in our rooms, and the comfort and quiet. We all thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts. I'm vegan and the B&B provided yogurts, croissants, fresh berries and a fantastic cooked breakfast. The building is opposite a small shopping area, which includes a Tesco, and is within 5 minutes' walk of the town centre. There is also a very pretty riverside walk a couple oif minutes away in the opposite direction, where you are suddenly in open countryside.
Whe stayed for 6 days in the room at the front of the house.
With lovely view over the garden.
Every Morning taking a luxury bath.
Verry relaxt and quiet sleeping.
Handmade breakfast made by Jully in the morning taste every morning verry good.
Thanks for the lovely time @ Bailey's Court.

Shelia, the host was fantastic. There was nothing she could not do to help my stay over in Northern Ireland go any better. Located in a quiet peaceful rural part of N.I. just off the M1, A4. There is Wright's Service station 1 mile away which had a chippy, a Chinese, wine shop, post office and general store. Only 15 minutes to my work. I will be back. Thanks Shelia.
Location is perfect for exploring Co. Armagh. Reasonably close to Motorway so very good for all other areas too. Lovely quiet, peaceful countryside area yet close to all amenities.
Amazing guesthouse - very big room with everything you need. The hosts are amazing and make you feel welcome. Breakfast was delicious and given the location in the countryside it was very quiet at night. There are pub options in walking distance (15mins walk)
