A really lovely spot to stay for a night in a quiet countryside spot. The hosts met us on arrival and were really friendly and helpful, and everything was lovely and clean. Despite being in the hosts' garden, we didn't feel overlooked and it very much felt like our own space for the night. Plus, it was less than a 5 minute walk to the cosy local pub The Jolly Farmer, where we had excellent food.
We had room 12, which was very spacious and included a sofa, and had views over the countryside at the back of the hotel. Very good selection of complimentary teas, coffees and biscuits. Lovely roll-top bath. Dinner and breakfast both very good. The whole place felt very luxurious and well managed.
Where to start....we thoroughly enjoyed our stay from the moment we arrived...it really is a super place and we can't recommend it enough...pure luxury and so peaceful...a great place to escape from the stress of every day life in beautiful countryside! 😍
