Steps from the walking trail and a nice view of the river. Dinner was lovely. There was a new lady and she was cheerful and helpful. The garlic bread and butternut Squash was splendid. Actually all the staff were very sweet and accommodating. The sitting rooms were very cozy

Set in a 17th-century former farmhouse just yards from the banks of the River Wye, Parva Guest house is less than a mile from historic Tintern Abbey.

Breakfast was good with the choice of cold or hot. Marta was very accessible and helpful. If one is planning to visit Tintern Abbey, this is a convenient location. It's only a 20 minute walk.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
Cute pub with rooms to the rear in a little courtyard, pub is quiet so didn’t need to worry about noise. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice and outstanding value, new owners are v passionate about food which we loved ♥️
Staff were very friendly, we felt very looked after. The location was very peaceful, the pub food was wholesome and the breakfast choice and quantity was excellent.
Really comfortable beds, spacious room, lovely quiet location. The food in the pub is out of this world... excellent breakfast and the famous pie's in the restaurant exceeded expectations. All staff were so friendly and went over and above to ensure our stay was comfortable.
Best ever breakfast served with a smile in elegant surroundings. Most comfortable bed and beautifully decorated room equipped with everything one might need. Lovely garden for outdoor relaxation. Peaceful location; a car is pretty much essential - part of the pleasure is driving round the lanes in the beautiful countryside. Our second visit and we will return.
All in all, relaxing 4 day break in a beautiful setting. The farm is in a quiet countryside hamlet,
with stunning views and plentiful woodland walks. The Shepherds Hut was clean and thoughtfully decorated. The owners are welcoming and helpful, knowledgeable yet never intrusive. There are several lovely gastropubs within a mile or so, catering for all tastes and price-ranges. Easy access to the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, South Wales and Gloucestershire. We'll be going back very soon!!!
The layout and design of the cottage were great, really well equipped with everything you could need for your stay - lots of little personal touches, they had thought of everything.
The location is idyllic overlooking the surrounding valley and hillside, set in a lovely little village it was so quiet and peaceful.
