It is a beautifully refurbished property with a lot of history and retains all of it’s charm. The bedroom was really comfortable and stylishly furnished . The location is stunning surrounded by beautiful peaceful countryside. The food and drinks were first class and service friendly and attentive even though it was a busy evening when I stayed.

The owners are friendly and helpful, it is in a beautiful quiet countryside location.
The bedroom/en suite are both comfortable and well equipped.
The breakfast was delicious.
We stopped over on our way to the Lake District last year and liked it so much we decided to do so again this year.
We will probably do so again in the future when we next go to the Lake District
The location, room and cleanliness was amazingly good, I was greeted by the owners, guided as to where to park and taken to my room, lovely welcome, and lots of advice as to where was good for food locally.

Such a friendly atmosphere. ALL staff members were really lovely. Looks like it's been updated and tried to keep a period feel about it which made it feel cosy but a little bit of luxury feel as well. The food was amazing & reasonable price. Real ale as well from local micro brewery. In the countryside but not far from M6. I will definitely return & would highly recommend.
This is an amazing place to stay that we would recommend without question.
David the host was brilliant, he greeted us at the door of his beautiful house and showed us around the caravan.
The photos don’t do it justice, we actually found it luxurious and wish we could have stayed longer!
Also little additions of drinks in the fridge, towels etc were lovely!
It was perfect for where we were going (a wedding within walking distance) and it’s in a very quiet and beautiful residential area with no noise.
