The location was good we were a 5min car ride into town for restaurants and bars. Lots of shops and historical sites. The park was perfect and well kept quiet and peaceful, perfect to just chill out.
Really lovely property and staff are so helpful too and very professional friendly and courteous . The rooms are so comfortable and luxurious with lovely touches .Ive stayed in a junior suite twice and both were lovely but would like to try a four poster duplex suite next time.the breakfast and dinner is excellent with lots of choices and the spa is one of the best spas I have been at and so peaceful too .its so good I’m going back for a 3rd time end of March .
Our room was spacious and the bed really comfortable. Luxurious bathroom. The location was quiet, relaxing and beautiful. The breakfast offering provided lots of choice and was very good. Really enjoyed the fresh fruit and eggs benedict. Dinner in the restaurant was innovative and delicious.
Hosts were helpful, friendly, and approachable without being overbearing or in your face. We were able to come and go as we pleased and felt relaxed and at home whilst there. The hotel is in a very central but quiet and peaceful location in the town. The building is full of character and our room was clean with fresh, relaxing decor, and a lovely view of the abbey. Breakfast was well cooked with good quality ingredients, and service was spot on.
