Fabulous location and view of hills, very quiet and peaceful. Chalet is great -- kitchen is wee, but wonderfully well equiped (but no condiments -- not even salt and pepper.) Comfy bed and plenty of storage space. Wee bathroom with hot shower and heated towel rail.
This place EXCEEDED my expectations! I WISH we would have stayed here all week. It was like being in a monastery (the quiet was so peaceful) and yet you expected the Queen to come and have tea with you. Rooms were beautiful, grounds impeccable, food wonderful. Staff great. We read in the library and after dinner played Clue in the Lounge! WOW! Couldn't have been more perfect! WELL DONE!
This location was so peaceful and quiet. The lodge was spacious and had everything you needed for your stay and the welcome basket and milk was a fantastic touch for self catering meant you could have a cuppa on arrival.
The owners were brilliant nothing was too much bother if you needed anything.

Quiet location- could hear the birds and watch the ponies and the donkey.
Off the main road but couldn't hear the traffic which helped the peaceful stay.
The breakfast and the hotels Indian restaurant was an incredible meal. It was very quiet and peaceful and very well looked after and decorated. The rooms were really great and nice a cool temperature wise.
We stayed only one night but could happily have stayed longer. The room was lovely and comfortable and although it is close to the main road it is a very quiet and peaceful place to stay. Lovely hosts and excellent breakfast. Close to some excellent local walks and just a few minutes drive to a few good restaurants in the nearby village. Great views as well.
