Very friendly and helpful staff. We were provided with an upgraded room, gratis, on arrival - this was well equipped,tastefully decorated and wonderfully quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Guy and Cindy went above and beyond to make our weekend a memorable one. The mill is beautiful and their personal touches make it like a home from home. The garden is stunning and we enjoyed walking around it with our baby and their 2 dogs. The breakfast was 10/10 and set us up well for our days out, and they made sure our baby had a great dining experience too! Superb hosts, we will recommend this place to all of our friends and family

Property was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and excellent communication with Property owners prior to arrival. There was a great variety in the breakfast they provided. It was a great location. Definitely will come back.

Diana and Chris are wonderful and friendly hosts, I felt very at ease as a guest in their home. Very homely cottage; beautifully decorated. Breakfast was absolutely delicious continental spread with fresh organic fruit salad made lovingly by Diana, yoghurt, cereals, juices, rye sourdough and spreads. Wide selection of teas and coffee that you can help yourself to. Easy drive into Bridgwater. Some nice country pubs around.

Fantastic location for a quiet family break. Beautiful countryside location and a lovely pub with delicious food and friendly staff.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Just off the A303 the Ilchester arms was a perfect stop for us on our way into Devon. We loved all aspects of the inn, from the welcome to the food. The room was perfectly comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast was superb. We had a very enjoyable walk around Ilchester too, to walk off our meal. A really nice place to stay.
Meals were very good, I enjoy the poached eggs on toast at breakfast. But all the meals weee good. Very comfortable bed, had great sleep there and it is nice and quiet.
We have absolutely nothing but praise for Liongate House. We were very comfortable in every aspect of our stay. A warm welcome was followed by time spent in a very pleasant and well equipped room. The shower room was extremely well planned and every detail carefully considered. We had a peaceful and restful sleep. The breakfast was plentiful and cooked to perfection. The entire property was meticulously clean, contributing to a delightful stay.

Although on a main road there was no traffic noise, therefore peaceful (except for a barking dog in the distance, still going at 3.00am!)
