Property was in a quiet location on edge of village, plenty of local facilities and rail station. Accommodation was perfect for a family break and was well equipped and comfortable for our stay. Very well decorated and nice personal touch with welcome hamper.

Staff were great...but our room was dated and smelly.... toiletroll holder was falling off the wall.... toiletries very limited... we could hear the guests upstairs walking and every thump they made... above our heads... every step and flushing of their toilet..... do not go there if its a peaceful night's sleep you are after... however most of the staff were friendly....

Lovely cottage, very comfortable. Heating when necessary. For interest sake, limited mobile signal. Calls best made from up the hill. No wifi available. A restful, peaceful time, beautiful surrounds, plenty of walks in area and good restaurants.

Very clean room and quiet. Bed and pillows really comfortable. Rainfall shower was great. Room wasn't serviced during the stay which in a way was nice so could relax and not feel needed to tidy it every day! Was great to have poached eggs as main egg option for hot breakfast. For those with dogs it is a dog friendly hotel but the rooms had no signs that dogs had been in them. Was exceptional value for money and would definitely go back.
