i was a little concerned it might be a bit noisy given it's proximity to the main road but I needn't have worried. The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, I had an excellent nights sleep and the friendly staff cooked me a big breakfast that kept me cycling all day.
Breakfast was awesome, great quality bacon and lovely poached eggs. Coffee was lovely too, would have liked to have got a second, but staff were busy.

It was a lovely quiet room even with overlooking the beer garden.
When shown to the room, it hadn't actually been cleaned, but the guy took me back to the bar while it was sorted and did a round of drinks for me and the family while my room was sorted and it was done quickly and looked fab.
As I was spending the day at Osborne House (Queen Victoria’s palace) during my stay this was the best possible location to stay, being directly across the road from it. I arrived late, past check in , as my train was late which saw me miss a Red Line Ferry, but someone stayed there until I arrived. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the breakfast was brilliant, it was so good I couldn’t eat it all. The room was great, comfortable, and quiet even though it is above a tavern.
Hotel is in a picturesque and quiet location. Stayed in Louise suite which was very spacious including a stylish bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Staff were really friendly and helpful on check in. Really happy with the stay.

Lovely location in the middle of beautiful mature Gardens ! Easy access with car or public bus .
The staff are an asset to Albert Cottage Hotel. They are professional and pleasant. The location is lovely. The gardens and grounds are well kept and peaceful. It is a short walk to Osborne House. The breakfasts were beautifully cooked and pleasantly served.
