I spent three nights here on a semi-solitary retreat and it was just perfect for the purpose. It's also really close to Stratford upon Avon, so it's ideal if you wanted to visit there, as well. The hosts are absolutely lovely, relaxed, generous, kind, thoughtful, and friendly.
The Bijou MaltHouse is beautifully finished and has everything you need for a short stay. There are lots of thoughtful features and touches. The cabin at the bottom of the garden is a wonderful added bonus and I very much enjoyed meditating and having a view out across the field. I look forward to staying again in future.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
It was nice to have a sitting/kitchen as well as the bedroom and bathroom. It’s in a lovely quiet area near some lovely villages and places to eat. The hosts were lovely and couldn’t be more helpful both before and during our stay.
No stone was unturned in order to make me welcome.
Decor was very homely & feminine, with lovely pictures on walls. Just enough rooms for relaxing in and the bed was very comfy, & it was a quiet place to be just for the one Night to switch off.
We enjoyed the quaintness of the property which met all of our accommodations needs. We really appreciated how well equipped the kitchen was and the overall seamless check-in process. Perfect location in the country not too far from larger towns. Would highly recommend if you wish to have a quiet and comfortable sleep.

The owner Christine was very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was roomy and perfect for a couple self catering. As B/B guests it was great to have the fridge already stocked with fresh milk, butter and juice on our arrival and the continental breakfast brought to our room. The comfortable beds had crisp, clean bedding. Secure, gated parking was a bonus. It was very quiet so a good sleep was guaranteed.
A lovely, cosy, quiet little cottage with bags of character. There were clear instructions about how to use everything and it was well equipped with everything we needed. Such a lovely location, perfect for two friends having a weekend away.
