Location is wonderful, very peaceful and spectacular views from the patio. Beds and sofa very comfortable though a feather pillow option would have been nice. Kitchen facilities and showers good. Pool very welcome in hot weather and well kept.
Wonderfully authentic apartment in an old house in the narrow streets of Beynac below the chateau. Beautifully clean and we had the perfect welcome from the wonderful Martine who looked after us brilliantly. The gite is a perfect place to stay as a base to tour the area. Close to nice restaurants, nestled into the cliffs, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
A quaint little cottage separate from the large house, short walk down to restaurants and shops, close to Chateaux Beynac and Dordogne river .

Completely unique property and one of my favourite ever places to stay. Located high above the river just next to Beynac chateau. I loved waking in the morning to the wonderful view, sitting with a coffee and watching the hot air balloons slowly pass overhead and sail down the valley.
Lovely room and house is very tastefully renovated. The view from the terrace is “world class”. Close to Beynac restaurants, and yet retains a very peaceful air.

felt like royalty from the moment we arrived! Plume greeted us warmly and showed us around the house and all its facilities. We were open-mouthed! The house had been decorated with taste and no expense spared. Just perfect in every way. And the view out across to the castle was sublime. Totally calm and peaceful above the noise of the road below. Wish we could have stayed there for ever!
Beautiful historic house in the countryside and close to a cute town. Kind and friendly hosts. Really great breakfast. We loved our stay here!
