The house is set high up in the mountains in an outstandingly beautiful and remote area with incredible views. Parking is on the road nearby and the house is accessed via a very steep path. We are fit and healthy but this was still tricky with suitcases. The house and view are totally worth the struggle when you arrive though! The house is fantastically equipped, the bed very comfortable and the outside area very pretty with chairs, tables, sun beds, bbq and pizza/bread oven. There is heating throughout the house and plenty of hot water for showers.The owner was very attentive when we needed help. There is no mobile signal in the area but the house has WiFi connection. There are 3 cave restaurants all within walking distance nearby with friendly staff and very well priced menus. We walked from the house into the hills and enjoyed incredible views. We would stay again without a doubt.

Absolutely fantastic. Perhaps the quietest place we have ever stayed, and the room was amazing. The town of St. Lucia is only 2km away and had several good restaurants, and is arguably the prettiest town on Gran Canaria.
This rural hotel is housed in a historic property dating back 100 years, situated in the old town of Agüimes. This hotel has been conserved with its original granary and camel stables intact.
Just a few steps from Playa Hoya del Pozo and a 6-minute walk from Playa del Hombre, Finca Hoya del Pozo features accommodations in Telde, with a garden.

Very nice staff, directly on the beach, garden, they had lots of toys and stuff for kids to play with in the garden, very comfortable rooms, very comfy chairs for the terasse.

Cute quirky little place right in the main square. I liked that it was a bit weird. The outdoor patio was nice to have. Location was great, albeit a bit loud at times.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
Great place to stay in the mountains.
We regretted to have booked it for only 1 night. Quiet and peaceful environment.

It's a lovely villa in a quiet part of the countryside. A lovely place to relax and let go. The place is also very picturesque which was an added bonus as I am a photographer so I used the villa as a backdrop for some lovely photos.
Beautiful house in beautiful location, quiet and peaceful, perfect if you like hiking! It’s comfy and clean. The host Felipe is friendly and will make you feel at home. I loved the breakfast options and they also cook yummy dinners. It’s remote (which I loved) but there is a bus stop close by. Thank you Felipe I had a great stay!
The property,it’s gardens,pool,location and views were absolutely amazing.Victor is an exceptional host who does everything he can to ensure your stay is perfect. It is very well equipped & the internet is great. This place is so peaceful & quiet but is close to all local amenities,not far from the airport & is very well situated to travel around the island .We all had a really enjoyable stay here & I would highly recommend it.
What’s not to like? The property exceeded our expectations on all levels: exceptionally clean; beautiful, peaceful location; fantastic nature including daily goat herds along the road, gorgeous flowers and plants; all mod cons including an outdoor barbecue with a stunning 360 degree view of the mountains; well equipped kitchen; close to Spar supermarket in San Vega de Mateo and a swimming pool and outdoor area with a shower. We would definitely return here to further explore the area and hiking.
The house is located in a small village, so it is very quiet. You can start hiking directly from the house. The house itself is spacious, spotless and has more than everything you need. The kitchen is perfectly equipped.
The views from the terrace and the dining logia are stunning.
Last but not least the hosts are super friendly and welcoming. We felt like spending vacation at family owned vacation house.
Well this nice and really quiet remote place in the mountains fully matches the description but of course if you look for a luxury hotel this would not be the destination.
Had the luck to be the only guest for one night in a room with 4 bunkbeds.
