Large comfortable room BUT it was not in Casa Ortiz! We found out when we arrived that we had been transferred to a nearby hotel. There was nobody at Casa Ortiz.

It is a really cozy place, very comfortable beds, and having separate bathroom in each bedroom is a great thing. Owners are friendly and reply fast to our inquiries.
This is really a lovely place to stay near Picos and get in touch with nature.
There are some dogs outside, and although they may seem to be many, they behaved well with our dog.
Casa de Aldea La Ablanera is located in Cangas de Onís, just 18 miles from La Rasa de Berbes Golf and 21 miles from Bufones de Pria.

Comfy and beautiful place with a chimney. It had heaters in every room, very helpful in the harsh winter. It had an amazing view and it was very well located. Clean and we'll organized. The host was helpful since the beginning, giving us clear instructions on how to arrive.

The host was so kind and helpful. They really helped us out with dinner and assisting with reservations. Really exceptional service. Also, the room was very quiet and comfortable.

It was situated in a great place. So very quiet with just the sound of the river running past our window. Breakfast included in the price was also excellent.

Everything was great - the woman in charge is very friendly, location, parking lot just next to the house, super clean apartment. Also it was very peaceful (exactly what we were looking for). I would come back and recommend to people for sure!
What we liked most were the bedrooms which were spacious and had vaulted ceilings. During the night, we kept a window open and could hear the gurgling sound of the river close-by, which was very relaxing. Total silence otherwise. Apartment facilities and appliances were all in good order. Luis was very helpful and was always available. He made sure we had all that was needed for our stay and suggested interesting hiking routes in Picos. The Covadonga lakes and the Ponga Biosphere Reserve, among other areas, provide endless options for hiking.
