The house is set high up in the mountains in an outstandingly beautiful and remote area with incredible views. Parking is on the road nearby and the house is accessed via a very steep path. We are fit and healthy but this was still tricky with suitcases. The house and view are totally worth the struggle when you arrive though! The house is fantastically equipped, the bed very comfortable and the outside area very pretty with chairs, tables, sun beds, bbq and pizza/bread oven. There is heating throughout the house and plenty of hot water for showers. The owner was very attentive when we needed help. There is no mobile signal in the area but the house has WiFi connection. There are 3 cave restaurants all within walking distance nearby with friendly staff and very well priced menus. We walked from the house into the hills and enjoyed incredible views. We would stay again without a doubt.

Cute quirky little place right in the main square. I liked that it was a bit weird. The outdoor patio was nice to have. Location was great, albeit a bit loud at times.

The house itself is beautifully restored and very comfortable, with a great breeze that comes in when you open the windows and doors upstairs. Just make sure you chase the geckos out before you leave.

Surrounded by mountains, Los Pinos oozes charm and character and is situated in a beautiful and peaceful location. A perfect place to escape to.
There are lots of lovely restaurants within walking distance serving traditional dishes. We especially enjoyed a meal at Valle de Mogan restaurante.
The hosts Laura and Juan were very kind and attentive and were there to greet us on our arrival at 10pm. We enjoyed the bottle of wine they left us.
The house was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped.
Having our own swimming pool was a real bonus and the views were idyllic.

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
If you are looking for a quiet place where you can feel the true authentic spirit of the Canary Islands, it is certainly Santa Lucia de Tirayana, and in it the Ancient Historic House. The taste and charm used to decorate the house will give you the opportunity to have a wonderful stay and feel like you are at home.
Very beautiful location with beautiful view. Cats and small dogs around. Nice terrace. Beautiful garden. Enough parking space. Last 200m of the road are spectaculary (on first arrivel there should be daylight!). Typical location with amazing potential. Very quiet and dark during the night because of location in the middle of the landscape away from cities, industry etc.
The location was very quiet but a lovely town Santa Lucia within 2km with everything you need . Picking fresh oranges for juicing each day was a pleasure in itself .The owner was incredibly kind and helpful .
This was by far the nicest place in Gran Canaria where I have been staying so far. The host was very welcoming, the garden and the view were absolutely spectacular. Orange trees in the enormous garden, mountains in the back. Very quiet.
All the day you hear the sounds of all the pretty birds, busy doin their thing.
The big surprise was that there were a couple of tiny puppies who were playing all the day, with eachother, with the cats - under the supervision of their mother - who 'protected' the area.
This is an amazing place if you love peace and quiet and authenticity. We loved everything about our appartement, the host and the surroundings. We wished we could have stayed longer!
Perfect location in a quiet mountain village, with hiking straight out the door. The balconies (yes one off the kitchen and another off a bedroom) were where we spent most of our time. We soaked in the sun and (occasionally) did some work using the excellent wifi.
The owner was available via mobile to offer assistance and suggestions. This was our second visit and I expect there will be more in future.
This house is situated in a peaceful landscape, in the middle of nature. The nice village of Santa Lucia is only 20 min away by walk, where you can find a restaurant, a cafe and a grocery. The house/the village is also a good starting point for hiking. The house is comfortable, cosy, and Juan, the owner, is super nice and accommodating. If you’re looking for a chill place to stay, where you can eat outside, have a walk in the orchard or have a chat with the other international guests, it’s the place for you!
