Very comfortable beds, very clean, the little apartment had everything we needed. We loved the country visit! Host Marco was very kind and helpful, bringing a shower chair for our elderly father.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
The house is surrounded by nature, a river runs 100 yards away from it… with basically no one using it… it is quiet, with a couple hiking paths around it, going to the nearest villages, passing a couple Roman bridges.
The area can be hot in summer but the hosts did have ventilators in the room. The hosts were extremely welcoming. The night I was there, a couple of “regular” guests was there as well and we all had dinner together, great atmosphere… (please note the hosts only speak Spanish).
