I had the pleasure of staying at Os Areirois for one night while walking the Camino, and it was truly a highlight of my journey! Although it’s not directly on the Camino, the beautiful surroundings and the warm hospitality of the family made it absolutely worth the detour. The accommodation is charming and cozy, providing a perfect retreat after a long day of walking. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape and a taste of local culture, I highly recommend this lovely place!

We liked the style of the building and the friendly personnel. It´s a very quiet area and perfect for relaxation. We would have liked to try the pool, but who would expect rain in Galicia. We were able to change the room to an apartment with kitchen for a night, the staff was flexible and helpful

The Casa was in a very quiet area. The hosts were exceptional. They provided a lovely breakfast and dinner to suit our needs. They were very attentive and friendly. We could not have asked for more.
The rooms were immaculate and great attention was given to detail. The building is very historical with modern facilities. We were treated like family.

Tito & Lorena are just the most welcoming hosts ever : - )
Clear communications and instructions for our arrival.
Super-obliging with info about the area.
Semi-rural location although a fairly busy main N-road passes nearby. Luckily at night traffic calmed down.
Cozy room with view of the local castle on the hill. Bit short on space for luggage. Comfortable bed.
Delicious homemade breakfast.

We loved everything. Cristina is an amazing host, always available and kind. The place is absolutely beautiful - the photos don't do it justice. It's a little paradise, very quiet and peaceful, with lots of places to rest and relax. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The breakfast and dinner foods are also amazing. We will definitely come back!

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
A special place on the Camino de Santiago. Beautifully restored old property with a peaceful vibe. Honestly system in place in the kitchen for wine and beer and snacks. If you need more food there is telephone delivery or a bar nearby with some food options. Great air con, great bathrooms, friendly host.
I really felt at home! After walking almost 10 hours in a very hot day, arriving at this quiet and lovely house with a beautiful garden was the best! Dinner was served (with love!) outside at a lovely backyard! They made everything to make us feel at home! And the cleaning was exceptional! One of the best places that I have ever stayed at the Camino!
I stayed two nights here during my Camino to take a break. It was a pleasant stay in a quiet location. It's nice if you want to get away from busier places. The room was basic but comfortable.
Nice place in quiet, peaceful village. Charming view from the window. Good location for Camino walkers. Friendly and hospitable host. Good value for money.
Everything! A little haven in the forest.
What a special pilgrim stop between Redondela and Arcade. Chris the host was incredibly kind and generous. We got to stay in the “Queens room” which was exceptional. Comfortable beds with white clean linen, lots of space, a newly refurbed bathroom and surroundings that make you want to stay another night. So quiet and peaceful.
Everything you need in the kitchen for an overnight stay. Carrot cake in the morning, fresh water from the Spring, tea and coffee… I can’t fault this place at all.
The property has been beautifully renovated and looks like a rural farmhouse. It’s location is right next to the Camino trail and, being in a rural area, it is quiet and peaceful. The owners are very friendly and they have created a warm, welcoming atmosphere. You can buy beer or wine and have a great night in the living room or at the nearby bar. In the morning there is free coffee and carrot cake! We loved our stay at Casa d’Mina!
Great location for the Camino,
Very quiet and peaceful
On the hill side, and good view of the bay of Vigo
Comfortable bed and clean room.
And great host.
Buen Camino...
The house is big and clean with a beautiful view of the field and sunset. Very close to the bay as well. Very peaceful and quiet at night. The facility was great too. I especially appreciated the good heating in the dorm. Not many hostels offer this along the Camino route. Also breakfast was included.
