Casa Blanco was the perfect place to stay on our Camino. It’s a beautiful house in lovely grounds and really peaceful. The hosts were amazing, picked us up from the town and dropped us back the next day. Really welcoming and friendly. Dinner was cooked for us and was exceptional. Breakfast the following day was fantastic and set us up for our 29km walk that day. The best thing about Casa blanco was definitely the hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they really made us feel welcome.

Everything! The most fabulous stay on the Camino. Everything was excellent, the service and the quality of all the produce. The hosts made it the most special experience for my dad’s birthday!!

The peace, the hospitality, the food and the ambience. This place should easily be one of the best stays on the Camino Frances. Visit the church that Humberto sends you to. It’s an ancient hidden gem.

Easy for the Camino being picked up from Palas de Rei and dropped back right by the Camino trail.
Room and facilities lovely in this very old family homestead. Beautiful rural location. Could chat with other guests in bar and amazing dinner and breakfast.
Would recommend. Very helpful and friendly staff.

It is located right along the camino. It provides a good stay after the climb up the hill earlier in the day. The staff is nice. The bed is clean and comfortable. Cafe is located in ten-minute walk or you can have meal delivered. If one tries to avoid the crowd at the usual stage stop, that's the place for you!

This hotel could easily be a museum; everything has been well curated. If you have an extra day don’t doubt to spend it here. This hotel is a perfect oasis for a rest day in el Camino.

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
A terrific stop on the Camino. We had a twin bed room with balcony. Lovely and cool in the crazy heat due to high ceilings. The dorms looked great too. Fresh and clean. All the facilities needed for hiking and right in the heart of the town yet quiet.
Rural, family run property with lovely gardens to sit out and rest after a long day. Peaceful, relaxing and set in a lovely part of the countryside.
Very friendly owner who looks after the guests with a great warmth and makes this a really enjoyable stay.
This is included as one of my top 5 stays on the Camino.
Cannot fault this accommodation. The manager, Maria, was super helpful. Rooms were great and beds comfy. Loads of hot water for a bath after a long day of cycling. Had our supper here and the food was great quality with some local produce. Overnight secured bike storage. Lovely communal area with tea/coffee/drinks fridge available. The property was in the countryside (on the main Camino route) and so guaranteed a peaceful night’s sleep
