The staff…the lady at the reception so nice. She also worked in the kitchen but mostly, she offered us a 4 minute ride to the Camino route in the pouring rain!!

Amazing mansion like historical building. Beautiful and luxurious. Incredible dinner cooked by staff, with private or group dining options. Can't say enough about room, grounds, pool, dining.

Loved the house though it was walk Into town for services and dinner. Were a few dogs barking during the night from an adjacent home. Great location though off the Camino.

Comfortable, clean rooms, large bathroom. I enjoyed the salon on our floor with coffee and tea. Juan and his wife are the best hosts! A very delicious and generous meal. Juan was very helpful, friendly and kind. He dropped us off directly on our Camino route returning to Santiago.

We loved this place. Dominique is an attentive host and helped make it stay perfect. We liked the comfort of the rooms, beds and bathrooms -it was all great. We especially liked the garden where we hung out and relaxed. It was very peaceful.

We liked the atmosphere of the house. Big house with lots of common areas, garden and pool. Very quite and lovely neighborhood. Parking on site no problem. Breakfast was very tasty.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
The casa was fantastic, our best stay on the Portuguese Camino. It was a little off the path but easy with google maps, and there is a shortcut for the next morning too. Xin was so lovely and welcoming to us, arranging leg and foot massages and the dinner and breakfast were both fantastic. And the rooms were so well equipped, clean and quiet.
I cannot recommend this casa enough !
We loved the beautiful quiet location ( not too far from the Camino path). The hosts Diego and Xin
made us feel so welcome , with many little touches- chocolate in pillow, free bottled water in the room, free toiletries. Xin made us a fabulous evening meal which we enjoyed with other pilgrims. Real care and attention to detail was given by this lovely couple. Xin took us to the woodland path short cut to Camino the next morning.
It's a fantastic choice to stay before you go to Santiago and finish your Camino- peaceful atmosphere, very friendly and helpful people, great food, a house to feel at home- I even stayed 2 nights.
This is your little gem that one only so very seldom finds. The personal reception, the unique quiet location and the rooms all are more then excellent. The hospitality reflects the passion they have. As pelgrims we were all invited to a pelgrim dinner with a combination of all kinds of spanish and asian style tapas. The self service bar offers a great choice. And the breakfast again reflects their care for details. By far the most special stay on the Camino. Highly recommend it.
Diego and Yin are the best hosts I’ve ever met! They were very friendly since we arrived and tried to make us feel at home from the beginning. The room was very clean and quiet, and the mattress super comfortable. They made a free dinner for all the pilgrims, as well as breakfast with home-made cakes. It’s 1km from Santiago’s way but it’s 100% worth the trip. Thanks for everything!
Ourstanding accommodations in a pleasant rural setting and a comfortable atmosphere that made us feel at home.
The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. They provided a great evening dinner.
Rooms were quiet and comfortable as were the sitting areas.I
This was the best accommodation on my Camino trip. The owners are so helpful and kind. It's a magical place and definitely the quietest place on the Camino. We were served the most amazing dinner and breakfast and nothing was too much trouble for the owners. It's a beautiful, authentic, historic property and I could have spent days not one night there. Unbelievably beautiful.
We loved the quiet luxury of it and tge wonderful sparking hosts - Diego and Xing who just just did everything to make this an exceptional stay - our last stay on the Camino
Welcoming, cozy country house where we immediately felt at home.
Did not expect to be served dinner which was an amazing ' Galician / Chinese tapas style feast.
A self- serving bar offering very reasonably priced drinks ,and great company made for a lovely stay.
Hosts are amazing !
Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes a peaceful atmosphere or as stop on the Camino.
