There wasn't much to not like about this hotel.
The bed was so comfortable i wanted to put the mattress on top of my car roof and take it everywhere with me. The room was lovely and toastie. The room was clean and tiday, as was the rest of the hotel.
We were a bit worried driving up as it's a bit off the beaten track, but 5 mins into the town. It's just a bit uphill on a mostly single track road.

What a beautiful place - deep in the countryside and yet only a 15 minute drive from the sea and the restaurants and the walled city of Hondarribia. Monica is an amazing host and switches seamlessly between languages. We were made to feel very welcome.

This is a fabulous place to stay! The vineyards and sweeping sea views are incredibly beautiful. The room was excellent in every way. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Very peaceful. Easy onsite parking. Access to honesty bar with great selection and glassware. You can walk directly into Getaria from here. We highly recommend a stay here!!

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Charming, friendly and helpful host who was kind enough to speak English to us. Extremely comfortable bed with beautiful sheets, and super, big, spotlessly clean shower room. Good Continental breakfast with great coffee! A perfect stop with safe, private parking in the quiet countryside after disembarking from the ferry in Santander.
WE LOVED THIS ACCOMMODATION! It was remote but still close to San Sebastián! It was peaceful, beautiful and modern all at once. So much more than we expected!
