Wonderful rural location high above Urnieta. The room was very comfortable with well appointed bathrooms and was serviced daily. The €8 breakfast was incredible. Each day you didn’t know what treats you would get. Despite us having no Spanish, our interactions with the host were friendly and with Google translate we communicated effectively. The location is about 20 mins from San Sebastián with easy highway access. We walked one of the farm walks that had clear signage and awesome views. There is a local restaurant 250m away where we enjoyed a lovely fresh cod dinner. We recommend this retreat.

This felt like sharing a house with a friend. Iñaki researched horse riding for our daughters and found us a great school. He suggested places to go every day and sitting on the terrace with him we learned about the Basque region and history. We'll worth coming for a very different pace of life in the mountains.
