This ace was small/boutique. It was spotless clean and had everything required including a washer/drier paid by donation, kitchen fully equipped and separate clothes lines to hang washing. The common area was very homely. Do try the bakeryva few doors down. Great cake and biscuits!!

We were a family of 3 adults walking the Camino. Because of a shortage of accommodation on the route, we chose to stay at Hormilla. What a stroke of luck that was for us. We stayed in a small, authentic Spanish village and were made to feel very welcome by our hosts, by the staff at Bar Moderno and by the village residents. Really lovely old house in a picturesque village surrounded by beautiful countryside ! Breakfast was great and Amaia is a really nice friendly person who speaks english and gives good advice ! Pity I couldn't use the terrace - but it was too rainy !

Lovely place to stay in an unspoilt small town. Breakfast very Spanish as it should be. Veronica allowed us to park our bikes on the secure patio. Sympathetic restoration of a treasured building.

Very good host and super nice accomodation. Close to the city center and vivanco museum. The house and design is very traditional and was much appreciated. Breakfast here is recommended. Good price for a very good experience.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Although neither of us could communicate in a common language,,we managed quite happily to understand each other. Nice quiet location. Ideal for an overnight on the way to ferry at Bilbao. Great value for money.

Very good location on our travels. The flat was very comfortable. There were only couple of flats occupied so it was very quiet. Lots of parking spaces. Very clean and comfortable.
Excellent location for walking the dogs along the river. Loads of street parking very close to the apartment - it would be worth Irene mentioning this as parking is important for people travelling by car across Spain. The quiet location was ideal for us.
