The villa was traditional, spacious and great bath towels. The plunge pool was very clean and good to have in the heat. Location was perfect - easy drive into Cordoba and 5 mins to Almodóvar del Rio for restaurants, supermarket and amazing medieval castle! An 8 minute drive gets you to the reservoir which was great for swimming and great restaurant at the location serving delicious food with fantastic views.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
The hotel was amazing. From the moment we stepped in they were very welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a Junior suite which was just fabulous. The breakfast had a wonderful choice and beautifully presented. The location is ideal for exploring but very quiet and peaceful inside the hotel.
The lady in reception was fantastic, she gave us lots of local information and recommendations for bars and restaurants. The location was great, nice and quiet. The room was very traditional, homely and spacious enough for the 3 of us. The entrance courtyard is so peaceful and really pretty.
Deliberately chose ‘edge of town’ accommodation in order to have somewhere peaceful for a few days, with a pool, and on-site parking. The accommodation, though a little small, was very clean and comfortable. Having said that, I was able to cook evening meals without any trouble. The apartment block was very quiet, just what we needed, and the pool was divine.
Driving into Cordoba Centro (about 5.5 kms) was easy and parking was also easy, i.e. nothing like Seville or Cadiz.
Lovely room with a lovely patio! We sat outside in the mornings and evenings with a coffee/beer and it was so peaceful! The room was comfortable, immaculately clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was on a quiet street so there was no noise at nighttime - we slept soundly! The host was also fantastic at communicating and provided us with lots of tips during our stay

Our cleaner very thoughtfully switched on the AC so the room was pleasantly cool on our return.
