Hostal Rural Marqués de Zahara is a delightful gem in the charming white village of Zahara. Having spotted it on a previous visit, we knew its prime location on the main street would offer a perfect blend of traditional Spanish ambiance and local life. Our room with a balcony allowed us to soak in the vibrant atmosphere below. The host was polite and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. It was everything we expected and more, making our stay in Zahara truly memorable.
Appealing rural accommodations located in Prado del Rey, an attractive terracotta-roofed and lime-washed village nestled between Sierra de Grazalema and Los Alcornocales nature reserves

Spain
Tourists from overseas, like myself, often spend our time in Spain seeing major sites in several big cities, but I would highly recommend what I finally did: renting a car to get off the beaten path to a beautiful place like this--with hiking in the nearby cork oak forest (Alcornocales), the backyard orange grove with chirping birds, and a small town with great people. The therapists here offer massage and a range of other therapies--Lucas explained the options in detail (and can speak English, fyi) so I could decide what was right for me. Rural Casa Ahora is a beautiful retreat space where you can enjoy exceptional hospitality.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
It was a lovely experience in this flat, because is very modern, very clean, sunny. This flat has amazing views of the mountains. The guests speak fluent English and were very attentive and friendly. The location of the flat is perfect for hiking in the mountains of Cadiz and Malaga and it is very close to Ronda as well. I will certainly be back soon.
Excellent communication with the host; Lovely open fireplace (complementary firewood supplied); Warm; Strong shower; Quiet; Easy to find; Kitchen well equipped
The town of Benaocaz is gorgeous. People were so helpful and friendly. It's very small and quiet but they have great restaurants! The apartment is excellent, the kitchen was small but had everything, including a dish washer and decent knives. There is a tiny supermarket across the street which has a bit of everything and a helpful owner. There is ample free parking just behind the apartment. I wish we had stayed longer and hiked the Roman road to Ubrique. Manuel was an excellent host!
It´s not just a house, it´s a home, Like staying at a friend's house while they´re away. Very comfortable with all the amenities for a wonderful stay. Highly recommended! The location is perfect for some great hiking opportunities. It really is a beautiful area to visit.
The whole apartment was very cozy, practical and quiet. The fireplace was really nice for the chilly evenings after a sunny day. The kitchen had enough tools and some kindly prepared coffee, marmelade etc. And the bad tub, though small, was good for a comfortable bath after hiking.
