The owner has bought the town's old train station to convert into a home and three nightly rental apartments. This is the first completed and what an exceptional job they are doing. Very nice bed, linens and decor. Comfortable separate eat in kitchen with everything you need with the exception of a stove. Refrigerator, coffee machine, coffee, tea and breakfast in the refrigerator, all nice touches. Very quiet with free parking in front of the room.
I loved the atmosphere of the place, the accommodation itself, the welcoming hosts, but above all - breakfast consisting of different fish, sprouts, all very delicious. Peace and quiet surrounding the house was exactly what we needed. The place is really close to the harbor so it is very convenient if you travel to Norway. Highly recommended :)
Lovely big dorm room which as it was quiet I had to my self. Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean. Plenty of communal space to relax. It's a little it out of town but is a walkable distance. Didn't have a chance to use the sports facilities but they looked excellent, easy walk to the nearby beach.
Such a beautiful location, with an amazing garden where the kids could run around and we could relax after a long trip. The barn is lived-in, has lots of character (and the occasional bug as you’re in the countryside, effectively fixed with the ‘insect-catcher’ if you need it :) and fine beds with an already made-up baby cot. The host Poul and his dog Max were perfect, made lovely dinner and breakfast from home grown ingredients. We had a perfect stay here, we will definitely come back if we can.
The destination was very convenient for my mum and I coming from Norway on the ferry. The lady was very nice and the room was big, the facilities comfortable although not over luxurious. Just what we like for the price we wanted to pay.
A beautiful location in the countryside. The property is very tastefully renovated, the room was a large and bright. The hostess was friendly. A perfect place for a peaceful and quiet stay.
