This is our second stay at Haus Martin and we had a lovely time once again. Sitting on the balcony looking at the forest was just gorgeous, it was so quiet and peaceful. There are lots of walks on your doorstep and good bus and train connections. We will definitely be back again!
Lovely, cosy apartment in a quiet location with excellent access to hiking routes. The balcony overlooking the garden is so peaceful and the kitchen was well equipped (even with cooking oil!). We appreciated the free public transport 'Guti' tickets. Bayerisch Eisenstein is a pretty but small village. It might be useful for travellers without a car to know that there is no shop for groceries in the village, we had to get the train to Železná Ruda in order to buy food etc.
We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back sometime!
I like the location and how quiet the place is. The view from the house is fabulous. In the morning, you can see mist in the mountains. Also, everything was as described in the description.

Kitchen well equipped. We only stayed one night but could have easily stayed longer. Entry via lockbox- very efficient.
The apartment is over complete with everything one needs for a short stay. The bathroom is small, but everything is there, even a rainshower shower. Balkony to sit on in the morning or afternoon. We were met by the owner on arrival and handed the keys, but there is a keysafe as well. The house is very near the woods and the Czech border and train station, good for walks. Area great. Lovely level walk by the river Regen nearby. Everything is very quiet and restful. Fresh rolls to be had in a nearby shop. We enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is a small paradise for children, while having a huge playground with a variety of attractions (large "spider net", table tenis, football playground, beach volleyball and for the youngest also a "digger" by the sand )
