Pablo (the owner) was extremely friendly and helpful with lots of local knowledge. The kitchen was relatively well equipped and had separate cupboard and fridge partitions for each room. There were plenty of tables for eating from, but also tables in the bedrooms if the kitchen was too cold in winter. Located within a few minutes walk of the bus stations, lake, tourist office and supermarkets. It was on a quiet road.
Owner sympathetic and flexible... nice environment... good heating system... historical family... I loved the rooms... was very peaceful.... large common place with huge windows where you can find quiet place to work or read...
Great location super friendly staff. We liked the fact that two rooms next to each other shared a balcony. Views were fab and to step right on to the promenade which was a hive of activity at night. Though central the rooms are at the rear so quiet.
René is a excellent host. The place is well located and very quiet, and the room is extremely comfortable and clean. The breakfast is great and we were treated with delicious watermelon and a nice omellete. I will definitely recommend it!
Very quiet, a bit secluded. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The cabanas are well distributed so that there is privacy. Beautiful green surroundings with trees. Of course you need a car, Villarrica is a few kilometers away.
We visited in Winter and got a warm and friendly welcome. The rooms are small but in top condition. The hostal is located in a quiet neighboorhood right inbetween lake-promenade and towncenter with Shops and bars.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Armin was friendly & welcoming, the kitchen was well equipped, the shower was good and everything was really clean. Despite our Spanish being terrible, Armin was patient communicating with us & helping to answer our questions. The location was fine, a quieter part of town, but just minutes to shops & restaurants, & only 20minutes walk to the beaches.
A peaceful, quiet stay a short walk from the centre of town and close to the lake. the room was really well equipped (wardrobes, bedside tables etc. all luxuries that aren’t a given when backpacking) and the shared bathroom was clean and had a powerful shower. friendly owners who were patient with our lack of Spanish. The owners let us leave our luggage there post check-out so we didn’t need to carry it for the 14 hours before our bus, we were very grateful!!
