Lovely pousada in Paraty. We were sad to only stay 1 night! It has a very peaceful and quiet vibe.
Garden and pool area are amazing with monkeys in the trees.
Secure parking on site is great.
Staff were very accommodating and helpful even though we did not speak Portuguese.
Breakfast had great choice and restaurant overlooks pool/garden area.
I LOVED this place. The house is beautiful - it's like something out of an interiors magazine. So spacious and comfortable. Great wifi, gorgeous pool area, and amazing breakfast! And the housekeeper - Irene - is just wonderful. It's a 5 minute walk (maximum) along the river to the historic centre - this is a good thing! It means it's quiet and peaceful. Yes there are cheaper options in Paraty but you pay for what you get here. I would strongly recommend staying here and I really hope I can come back one day!
This is a great option in Paraty. Really friendly and helpful staff - there was someone snoring loudly in my room and they were flexible enough to let me change rooms for the rest of my stay. Extremely clean, quiet (depending on other guests) and well located. The 8-bed dorm upstairs is lovely, plenty of natural light and very peaceful. I extended a few days here and would stay again.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lovely little Japanese garden was beautiful. The pool was clean and the attendant was helpful. It was quiet and peaceful, just off a popular section of the town. It has quick access to plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. I can’t recommend this place enough.
The location, although not directly IN the town, is amazing. The views are incredible as the hotel is up a bit of a hill. Quiet and relaxing. Staff super friendly, the breakfast is amazing and it was so peaceful every morning to sit with a wonderful view and watch the little monkeys run about. Loved it so much!
Lovely breakfast on the terrace. Peaceful, lush garden setting. The location was in the quiet part of the town, which we appreciated (being there during a crowded holiday weekend). The staff was friendly and kind (we communicated with Google Translate). The afternoon coffee with homemade cakes was very nice. I would recommend to stay here.
Lovely place with lots of charm. Family run feel. Quiet and peaceful. Our room faced inwards, but when we saw the room that had a sea view it was BEAUTIFUL.
Location is good - close to the main streets but quiet. Breakfast is wonderful - fruits, cakes, juices, eggs, breads etc. Hospitality is outstanding, extremely polite, welcoming, helpful. Daily cleaning service for room. Was able to check in very late which we appreciated. The accomodation isn’t top luxury, but it’s very comfortable, clean and everything works well.
This place is just so beautiful, it's truly special. Our room was on a lovely little lane opposite the main building. Really quiet and peaceful. The staff were friendly and helped us to arrange activities and transfers.
