Cozy room, perfectly clean, newly renovated, with surprisingly luxurious private bathroom, very kind hosts. They even prepared gluten free breakfast for me upon request - I didn't expect it to be possible.
Fatima and Gemahl are the most wonderful and welcoming people. The accommodation is thoughtful and comfortable and the meals prepared by Fatima are absolutely delicious and very generous. You are staying in an old shepherding village and it feels like you are in another world. It's peaceful, authentic and beautiful and I can't recommend it more. I would go back there in a heartbeat.
My second stay with Fatima and Kemal. A warm room with WiFi and a hot shower await after a day of hiking. It was sparkling clean with plenty of towels and bedding.
The food is all locally sourced and tasted as amazing as it did a year ago, as did the coffee and breakfast.
I'd recommend staying here to anyone and would definitely return, the hosts only speak Bosnian so make sure to keep Google translate handy as I'd write to them on there.
Hiking the via dinarica and after a long hot day uphill this place received me extremely welcoming. I felt right at home in the beautiful refurbished old stable. The home cooked meals tasted amazing, beds were very comfortable and the staff helped me with a lot of Organisation of my trip!! Truly amazing place I could spend weeks in! Really relaxing
Wonderful hosts - kind and super friendly. Excellent home cooked food. Room basic but comfortable and the shared shower is very good with plenty hot water. The location is incredible - it’s so peaceful. I got bitten by a shepherd’s dog on my hike to the village from Umoljani and they were kind enough to help me from their first aid box.
