The host was beautiful! She came to check in with us and ask if the kids wanted to feed the animals. We were able to hold the newly hatched chickens, feed the sheep and lambs and visit the horses. The house was gorgeous and equipped with absolutely everything we needed, even toys for the kids. Very comfortable beds and air cons in both areas of the house to keep us nice and warm.
Could not be happier with our stay and we look forward to our next trip.

Second time staying at the Residence and it was a nice relaxing short break with the family. The kids loved the giant house and the various play areas, and the kitchen was well equipped for making meals, and the fridge was generously stocked with a complimentary wine and local produce. Highly recommended.

The cabin was set in a very quiet area and positioned east/west basically. Very comfortable inside with a fireplace and air conditioner.
The bedroom was very nice and it had a great shower/spar in the bathroom.
The inside was decorated nicely with bits and pieces.
The bonus was the provision of Breakfast items.
A BBQ was located in the garage.
We will definitely try and stay again.

I stayed at Wandin for the 10km Winery run. My Mum was over from NZ so she came too. It was so lovely and hadn’t and very relaxing, we had dinner at the restaurant that was delicious the night before too.

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
So spacious and comfortable , beds were extremely comfortable and warm , the view was amazing , the beautiful night sky untouched by light , quiet and peaceful area , great communication , any concern raised were fixed immedietly , the book selection was huge , heaps of games and activities , very clean
The location was perfect- so peaceful and quiet. They thought of everything to make our stay exceptional- wood for the fire, coffee machine, extra blankets etc. We can't wait to go back.
Finding the property and the cabin was easy; the key was left in a lock box, which was a secure and straightforward system. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything you need for an easy and enjoyable stay. Inside, the place was impeccably clean. The quality of the bed linen and towels was fantastic. The cabins are all strategically placed throughout the property and surrounded by small trees and shrubs, which adds to the sense of privacy. It was very quiet, peaceful.
The location was perfect and peaceful with kangaroos in the adjoining paddock and lots of birds and water features available on walks. The house was very comfortable and spacious. Not luxurious but clean and tidy with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Just what we needed for a weekend retreat and wine tasting at nearby vineyards. We were also given useful advice from the manager on vineyards to visit.
Beautiful and peaceful location that was very close to wineries and restaurants but far enough for a quiet getaway. The weekend was cool enough overnight to light a fire which Judith our wonderful host started for us.
Rothbury Escape was beautiful. The location was gorgeous. It was very quiet and peaceful. The bed was super comfy and the breakfast was yummy! Would highly recommend 🤩
This place is so lovely. Super quiet and peaceful with so much greenery and space. Little bunnies hoping around the vineyards are so sweet and the drive to the cottage itself is along the rows of vines. Honestly such a beautiful stay with my family and little pup. The pictures don't do it any justice btw. I would stay again anytime. Also Geoff the mgr is a lovely man and came to welcome us.
