My room was surprisingly extremely quiet, especially given the fact that it was close to the motorway. Also the bed was one of the best I have ever slept in....and I have stayed in places that cost 8 times more per night than here. The bed was more comfortable than beds I've slept in from expensive luxury hotels. The owners also have a great sense of humour which was very nice.

The location was gorgeous. The grounds photogenic. The owner was very friendly and willing to please. The room was atmospheric and different to standard motel rooms. Being a little out of town meant it was very quiet and peaceful.
Very clean & comfortable - everything is thought of; from bug spray to soft fluffy towels! Plenty of coffee/tea/sugar etc. Absolutely quiet & peaceful with the added bonus of being pet friendly.
It was an older type of motel which has been refurbished. It was comfortable and welcoming. The exterior was decorated for Christmas, and it was a lovely surprise to find our room also had Christmas decorations in it. It all added to the quiet, friendly and peaceful atmosphere.
Everything - the most exceptional property we stayed in over our entire 2 week road trip. The kitchen was set up for at least a couple of weeks stay.
Peaceful and quiet in a country setting
Lovely quiet location. Loved the Scandi vibe inside the house. Beds were super comfortable and the linen sheets felt extra luxurious. Full kitchen facilities including a coffee machine. Plenty of parking. The ducted air conditioning kept us cool and comfortable inside.
Peaceful and quiet. With the exception of doors closing which echo in corridors, rooms are solid and soundproof - no sounds from neighbours rooms and outside sounds are pretty muffled.
Comfortable sleep and hot shower.
Close to river for walks, and restaurants/service station for conveniences
Very peaceful and quiet. Nice drive approaching the property and lovely gardens and courtyard area surrounding the cottage. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed
