It’s a nice little cottage like apartment, away from the main stretch. Quiet and peaceful. Apartment is clean and well equipped. Near the bus terminal but a little distance from the main stretch of El Calafate, but if you have vehicle, it’s still fine.

    - the location is amazing. Wonderful views and away from the city. Felt very peaceful and relaxing. Close to the lake (5min walk). Takes 40 minutes to walk to the city centre so not a very walkable distance but local taxis were super cheap so not a big issue. - the cabin was very spacious which we appreciated as we had lots of hiking gear with us - the host was very helpful and approachable.

Very conveniently located, Danny and his family were super friendly and we appreciated the hospitality for a one night stay. The common area was particularly loud but they did ask people to be quiet for us as we had early stay - they also let us keep our bags their whilst ice trekking

Staff are helpful. They’ll send you pages of information about El Calafate and hiking in El Chalten in advance, as well as explaining the “problem” of ARS exchange rate. If they can charge the laundry a little lower (current price USD10), that would be perfect 🤩 I stayed in a room with private bathroom, facilities function well as expected as a motel. Location is good and quiet.

Lovely cabin in a quiet, peaceful and neighborhood a bit outside of town, away from hustle and bustle and tourists, only 30min walk to the centre or a short (and cheap) taxi ride. Lake and mountains view just after a tiny walk up the hill right outside the door. Well equipped, kitchen had plenty of pots, a brilliant frying pan, lots of plates cups etc. Very comfortable mattress, perfect silence at night. Lovely and helpful host We felt right at home and enjoy the quietness to the fullest.

This is an outstanding hotel. It’s just off the main strip so quiet. The hotel is very luxurious with games room, gym, spa etc. The staff are outstanding, very accommodating, extremely helpful and speak Spanish and English which was a great help. The rooms are big and luxurious and the breakfast was outstanding with a huge choice of cooked, breads, cakes, cereal etc. I would very much recommend this hotel. It was a delight staying here.

Very nice clean rooms, in a quiet area of el calafate, within walking distance from the center and from a couple of good restaurants. Good breakfast. Lucas the owner was extremely helpful with all our questions and very professional. He was replying to our messages without any delay. He has a climbing experience of many years and he can help you with anything you might need in climbing, hiking and various tours.
