Located in Wilmington, 18 km from Lake Placid, The Wilderness Inn: Chalets features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a bar and barbecue facilities. We loved the Chalet and will definitely be coming back. It was very spacious clean and cozy. The kitchen was fully equipped including a few seasonings and oil. It was close to a few hiking trails and just a short drive away to a little grocery store with a deli that made a great sandwich.

The property is well kept, the views at sunrise and sunset are beautiful. Ashley is so kind and makes you feel special. This was our third or fourth trip here to Single Island Shores! We love the cabins, the quietness and just being here and unplugging for a few days. We even got permission to bring our 9 month old puppy. We felt rested and well just good when we left.
