Very friendly staff, full facilities including laundry. Beautiful view of Sao Jorge, and super quiet and peaceful at night, we had a great time looking at the stars. A little out of the way so I definitely recommend having a car, and the neighboring town had very little, just one grocery store and a few bars.

Posava que no tenia esmorzar inclòs, però vam tenir una sorpresa molt grata quan a l'entregar-nos l'habitació ens havia deixat panets, formatge, pernil dolç, vi, aigua, llet, càpsules per a café, uns petits croissants de xocolata, pomes i unes xocolatines. Cuina molt ben equipada, caseta preciosa amb un pati amb una taula per menjar fora amb vistes a les vinyes i a Piquinho. Lavabo correcte. Tot bastant nou.

Located in São Mateus in the Pico island region, Aldeia Dos Caldeirões has a patio. The accommodation features a year-round outdoor pool, a spa bath and a hot tub. I absolutely can’t give enough accolades to address the property and owner. Everything was superior, and I would highly recommend this cottage! Pico Island is amazing, of course, and the cottage captures the essence of the land and the people. Made from lava rocks and stunning local wood, whoever designed the cottages here had vision. The owner was marvelous and kept in touch with us as we approached our time in Pico. Also, a thankful shout-out to the amazing women who run the local grocery store - you’ll find it as it’s the only one - as they made calls on our behalf and loaded us up with delicious bread, fruit, and cheese made nearby. 10 stars out of five for it all!!

Set in Cais do Pico in the Pico island region, Casas do Baleeiro - Casa da Vinha has a patio and mountain views. This holiday home offers free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. A lovely house in a smaller town, with a beautiful view to Sao Jorge. There is also a nice terrace where you can enjoy the breakfast or your diner :) We found also some tomatoes in the garden, it was nice to have them for breakfast :) Location is 20 min from Sao Roque and 30 min from Lajes by car. There are also some nice restaurants in the town. The owner was really nice, we enjoyed the stay here.

The staff are also really helpful. Very responsive via text and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
