Offering an infinity pool and river view, Quinta de São Luiz The Vine House is set in Tabuaço, 19 km from Douro Museum and 30 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary. Breakfast are okay but no surprise. The room is comfortable and we forgot to close window so there were a a bunch of bugs flying in our room. Fortunately, there is still the last vacant room that day, and the hotel also quickly changed the room for us.

The Location was very convenient for travellers by train. The views are fantastic. The owners are very friendly and chatty about their properties.

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. Thank you to the whole family for making our stay a unique and wonderful one. David could not do enough for us. We loved Maria, such a lovely lady. Miguel, the owner, host and chef is a warm, generous man. The girls were also lovely, ensuring our enjoyment, comfort and safety (my husband is disabled and I have some current injuries that affect my mobility). Evenings with a delicious meal and good wines/ports from the estate were unique. There a are so few places that offer the opportunity to sit at a large family table and talk with your fellow travellers from all over the world while enjoying home cooked goodness. The views of the Douro from high on the mountain top were stunning. Thank you everyone for a most wonderful stay. This family understands hospitality in a big way and I highly recommend a visit if in the alto Douro.

Set within 26 km of Douro Museum and 30 km of Natur Waterpark, Socalcos do Douro House offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Valença do Douro. Beautiful view of the vineyards below. The swimming pool was a plus as it was such a hot afternoon. Great food in the restaurant.

Located within 18 km of Longroiva Hot Springs and 42 km of São João da Pesqueira Wine Museum, Quinta Alto da Fraga provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Vila Nova de Foz Coa. Breakfast was plenty and healthy. The estate is beautifully managed, maintained, the view is incredible.

Boasting pool with a view and views of mountain, Quinta da Ribeirinha - Douro River is a recently renovated farm stay situated in Paços de Gaiolo, 46 km from Douro Museum. The view was magical, the rooms were very spacious and clean and the hostess was very nice!

Situated in Castelo de Paiva, 47 km from Estadio do Dragao, CASA DAS FONTELAS features accommodation with an infinity pool, free private parking, a garden and barbecue facilities. Everything was great and very clean, breakfast basic but good

Situated within 13 km of Natur Waterpark and 37 km of Douro Museum, Casa do Santo - Wine & Tourism features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Provesende. Everything was perfect! A charming property with lovely history. The room was comfortable and spacious, the grounds were surrounded by beautiful vineyards, the pool has a stunning view over the many vineyard covered rolling hills. The staff were extremely helpful with any and everything - reservations, recommendations, wineries to visit, taxis, etc. The service was above and beyond! We really enjoyed having a bottle of wine and charcuterie board while relaxing by the pool. The breakfast was also very delicious and beautifully set up. It was an absolutely perfect stay, and my husband and I can’t wait to return!

Moinhos do Paiva is set in Castelo de Paiva and features a private pool and mountain views. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The view is amazing, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful.
