A recently renovated property, Bagattella81 is situated in Capri near Marina Piccola Bay, Marina Grande Beach and La Fontelina Beach. I have been travelling to Italy for many years, several times a year, renting apartments for longer stays, but I have never written a review. This time I am making an exception because bagattella81 is an exceptional place. Capri for me is joy and light, and from this apartment with a central location on the island, windows in four directions, a beautiful terrace, views of both Vesuvius and the Mediterranean, I have been able to enjoy both sunrises and sunsets. The beauty and comfort of the place is that of a five star hotel, exceptionally clean, comfortable bed and sofa, both underfloor heating and AC, well equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms, high tech and high quality in every detail. And something money can't buy - the care, warmth and professionalism of the hosts, Roberta and her daughter Daniela, who live next door and run a great shop with beautiful things on the ground floor. Every Sunday they spoiled me with a basket full of delicious homemade bread, cakes, jams, sweets and fruit from the garden, and even made me the best Caprese ravioli with dry caciotta I have ever tasted. I stayed at bagattella81 for 19 nights as I extended my stay by a week and spent Christmas in Capri. Roberta and Daniela made my stay an unforgettable experience, the best of my many travels. Location was right near the port close to amazing shops & restaurants. Property was recently renovated and all appliances were brand new. Owner was very responsive and very helpful. He even met us at the port to help with our bags and show us the property.

Daily service straightening the rooms, making the beds. Loved the balcony with a table for 6 and nice views enjoying a pizza and a bottle of wine.
