Set in Vis, 1.3 km from Stenjalo Beach and 8.8 km from Srebrna Bay, HOLIDAY HOME ZLOPOJE offers a garden and air conditioning. The apartment is exceptionally clean, cozy and was in brand new condition. Small but clean and functional bathroom with shower and washer, which was really convenient. Fully outfited kitchen with all necessary appliances and full set of cook ware, dishes, glasses, frig/freezer, toaster, coffee maker (everything) with open dining area. Bedroom with full bed and comfortable mattress and pillows with satellite TV. AC in dining area cools the entire apartment in minutes. Private exterior shaded lounge area with hot tub and outdoor shower was really enjoyable. The house, like all traditional architecture in Vis, is of stone. The location is NOT in the harbor! It is away from the hords of tourists just a short drive or bike ride up the hill and is located on a semi-private road that also hosts a small winery. We found the propetrty location to be very quiet and convenient to Vis, all beaches and both north and south roads to Kamize. The owners made our stay even more fabulous. They were just incredibly considerate and polite hosts; making certain that every need (of which there were none) was met. Our exceptations were certainly exceeded by our host family's keen interest in our comfort, which included a bottle of grappa, fresh black berries and homemade rozada (custard) cake. We love this family! So...can't say enough good things about the property, the location and especially our hosts!

This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi.... Amazing property, brand new and modern. The location was perfect, peaceful and quite in a small village in the middle of the island. Everything was a 15 min drive away.

Set in Vis and only 400 metres from Beach Vagan, Villa Delfin offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. We spent two weeks in this property, we particularly liked the pool area, the outdoor areas in general and the splendid sea view. The kitchen is very well equipped and everything is modern and functional. It's also a short walk to the centre of Vis with its many bars and restaurants. The hosts are also very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Olive Hill Family House is situated in Vis. Olive Hill is a tranquil, beautiful retreat. There are many spaces to sit and relax outside to eat, enjoy the view, read or just snooze (we did all of those frequently!). Inside, there is plently of room, as well, including a comfy seating area to read or watch TV. We took full advantage of the well-stocked kitchen and fixed many meals (easy with the Tommy supermarket just a few minutes by car down the road). The beds were comfortable, plenty of linens and anything else we needed. The true joy of Olive Hill are the owners, Ivana and Mislav. They are kind, friendly hosts, happy to share the joy and love they feel for their home. It started at the ferry, where Ivana met us and arranged a taxi for the short drive to the house. We were treated to a helpful introduction to the house and island as well as good conversation -- both Ivana and Mislav are very easy to talk with. We knew from reviews that they move out of this house during the summer into a smaller house on the property. That does not interfere in anyway with privacy (the smaller house is tucked below on the hill and you really don't see them much -- they are very respectful not to disturb you during your stay). We also learned that they actually built the house with a great eye towards sustainability -- the house is solar powered, easy with Vis's sunny climate (and there's a back-up generator) and they compost their organic matter directly into their gardens. This was a big bonus for us being like-minded. We also appreciated the information and tips they passed along as far as activities, sites and logisitics. Go with their recommendations -- you won't be disappointed! We thoroughly enjoyed a Blue Caves tour they recommended as well as used their local recommendation to rent a car (while you can travel the island via scooter, bus and taxi, for a party of three we really appreciated the ease of having a car).

Set in Komiža and only 90 metres from Zanicovo Beach, Villa Katarin offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. We could go there by bus, Teuta picked us up at the bus station. It is very central - the whole city is reachable by foot.

Even better than photos! Ideal, quiet location in a comfortable, tastefully-decorated cottage. 50m to sea & swimming off rocks. Fantastic sea views from Liv rm, bedroom & beautiful private stepped garden/terraces. Lukas is an excellent host & responds quickly to queries. VIS is an island paradise & Lukas’ home is simply the best place to stay!

Situated in Komiža, 300 metres from Lucica and 500 metres from Zanicovo Beach, Antique Central Komiža House Nona Nika offers air conditioning. Nona Nika is a lovely, very enjoyable, well equipped house with all the important amenities. We really appreciated the AC units given the extraordinary heat wave during our stay. A well working washing machine is a must for us, given that we traveled from the United States and needed to wash our clothes every few days. The location is quite good, about 10 minute walk to the closest beaches. Komiza has a lot to offer within the town itself, but also there were numerous tours to nearby islands and famous beaches. However, the most impressive thing about Nona Nika was our hostess, Gdja Katarina. We arrived late with the very last ferry. She waited for us to hand over the keys and helped us navigate the area and find the parking. This lady absolutely went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. I am really so grateful for her hospitality. The locals were also absolutely amazing. One local lady helped me find my way back among the tiny streets and houses by walking around with me. Apparently, the locals do not know the names of the streets, they go by landmarks and who's house is who's. :)

Situated in Vis, 400 metres from Beach Vagan and 600 metres from Beach Zmorac, Mala Mara Design Villa Vis offers air conditioning. The accommodation fully corresponded to all expectations, we felt very comfortable in the house, the architecture, interior layout and furnishings, including art objects, matched our taste. Good location near the centre. We could contact the house keeping lady at any time, she answered immediately and was always helpful. The island had a very good energy for us, the locals are nice and friendly. We can highly recommend Vis and Villa Mara for the stay.
