Being tucked away with just a couple of horses for neighbours, in a stylish and immaculately clean studio, a stones throw from the heathland was perfect. We were asked about dietary requirements in advance and just hoped we might get some nondairy milk, we got so much more - mushrooms, bread, jam, marmite, plant based butter (not marg), cereal, granola, berries, orange juice, tea and coffee and all good quality (Waitrose). Honestly excellent :)

The location was excellent, really tranquil. The hosts Wendy and Phil were so friendly and helpful and we could not have asked for more. Bed was really comfortable and the Cabin was spotless! Will always remember little Dottie too :) We will be back!

Forest Heath Shepherd's Huts, a property with a garden, is situated in Ringwood, 19 km from Bournemouth International Centre, 25 km from Poole Harbour, as well as 27 km from Sandbanks. Loved the area, the shepherds hut was perfectly well kept clean and tidy. Tea coffee and milk supplied. The area was quiet and beautiful. It was small (that's not a negative) but had all the facilities that we needed for our weekend of relaxing. The host Tracy was lovely and met us on arrival. We visited Moors Valley that we were able to walk to from the site. We had the added bonas of breakfast brought to the site at a little extra cost but well worth it. Would highly recommend this to anyone who just wants to get away from it all. A little local pub provided us with a lovely evening meal.

Situated in Andover and only 16 km from Highclere Castle, Staggs Cottage features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. We had a great time. The proprietor is a wonderful host. The room and guest sitting room were great. Breakfast was over the top.

Amazing place to stay, Wish we had stayed longer. Garden and house lovely. Breakfast also very nice, and hosts delightful.

Situated in Sway, in a historic building, 28 km from The Mayflower Theatre, Hazelhurst Farm is a recently renovated holiday home with a garden and tennis court. Beautifully decorated, lovely owners and location. Would definitely stay again.

Charming country cottage with updated bath and kitchen. Everything you need. Lovely garden with apple tree. Host was incredibly nice and made sure we were comfortable. Parking is easy and less than 10 yards to the cottage entrance.

Situated in Petersfield and only 20 km from Jane Austen's House Museum, Mays Cottage Bed and Breakfast features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The room was small but very clean and very comfy. The owner was very friendly and always ensured that everything was alright. The location is beautiful. It is next to a busy road, but it dies down during the evening and had no problem falling asleep. A great place to stay!

Located in Lymington in the Hampshire region, Courtyard Cottages Lymington, 2 Adults only features a patio. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. The cottage is in a good location in the town centre close to shops, restaurants and pubs. Although just off the High Street it is entered by a private drive into a court yard and it is very quiet. Although described as a small cottage, the owner has utilised the space well and so it doesn't feel too small. The bed was very comfortable as was the settee. It is well equipped and has everything covered. The icing on the cake for me was somewhere to sit to do hair and makeup. There was a stool and a large mirror above the chest of drawers. This is rare, so often it is difficult when there are two of you getting ready to go out for an evening you just seem to get in each other's way. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
