These modern, 2-bedroom cottages are located 3 km from Rovaniemi City Centre and Train Station. Ounasvaara Ski Resort is 500 metres away. I stayed with my brother for three night in the chalet. It is located in the middle of the forest but only 12min away by car from the center of Rovaniemi. The chalet is beautiful and perfectly equipped for the cold days in Lapland. The fireplace and the sauna make the experience unique and cozy. The hosts at Safartica replied promptly to all our questions and check-in and check-out were very easy and accommodated to our needs (we were arriving very late and leaving very early). Overall an amazing and relaxed stay, and considering the prices of other hotels in the are, very reasonable.

Korpikelo provides a sauna and free private parking, and is within 36 km of Kolari Train Station. Exceptionally well equipped, very quiet, cozy and clean. Perfect location for skiing, with convenient access to airport and slopes with bus. Cross-country skiing trails run just a couple steps away. Very kind hosts, we will most definitely return!

Well appointed cabin, sauna, surrounded by nature and very well kept . Host are very friendly and will provide assistance if required.

LakeLodge Kiehinen & Igloos in Rovaniemi provides adults-only accommodation with barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The property is stunning, and the view from the cottage itself is great! There are lights everywhere to light the way, which we really appreciated, and they are not so bright they take away from the experience. We would recommend this place to people and definitely come back. We also did the sauna with jacuzzi and it was so much fun, even went for a quick dip in the lake. Sofia was super helpful with our questions and taught us how to light a fire too :)

Within 1.5 km of Arktikum Science Centre and 7 km of Santa Claus Village - Main Post Office, Foxtail Apartment provides free WiFi and a garden. Quiet location, very easy walk to a supermarket, and extremely cosy place to sleep. 30 minute walk to town or easy taxi ride using Uber or similar local apps (or the taxi rank by McDonalds). There's a great kitchen which helps reduce eating out costs which can be steep in Rovaniemi for a family, and an excellent shower. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property without reservation.

Situated in Korvala, Korvala log cabins provide self-catering accommodation with a terrace. Each holiday home features a kitchenette, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with bidet and shower. Stunning setting on a husky farm and overlooking the frozen lake. Kids had alot of freedom and were able to roam around safely in the woods and in the snow at the front of the cabin. We used the sledges they had available and cross country skis. My husband and I did the sauna and ice dip which was brilliant fun. Kitchen facilities were pretty basic but the cabin was super warm and cosy - they have a little kota available that we cooked sausages on Had a husky ride with korvala. My husband and I ended up each mushing a dog sled each which was amazing. We had a kennel tour and was nice to see how loved and cared for the dogs were as this was a major decision in going to korvala.

Boasting a garden, Harjuniemi features accommodation in Kangosjärvi with access to free WiFi and lake views. My friend and I felt super-welcomed. The location by the lake was wonderful. House very comfortable. Perfect spot to admire nature and to see some auroras. Very peaceful.
