It’s impossible to rate higher than a 10 otherwise I’d give the place at least 12. In all my years traveling I’ve never stayed at a hotel as wonderful as Los Tinajones. Can’t wait to go back.

We loved the location, very peaceful, we enojyed listening to the birds singing in the morning while drinking coffe on the terrace. Inside really cosy, great atmosphere, very relaxing. Everything you could need is there, both in the bathroom (soap, shower gel, shampoo, slippers) and the kitchen, from cooking utensils to yummy cookies ;). Very kind and communicative owners, the response is always very fast.

El Abuelo Paco ligt in Cercedilla en biedt een tuin en een terras. De accommodatie biedt uitzicht op de tuin en ligt op 18 km van San Lorenzo de El Escorial. I travel a lot for work (I stay in business 4/5* hotels 1/3 of the year). This was by far one of the best accommodations I have stayed at. It was super clean. It was quiet. The kitchen was designed in a way that you could actually use it. There were lots of pots, pans, cutlery and even basic food items. And everything functioned as it should and was super clear. The host was extremely friendly and thoughtful. She went beyond all efforts to make sure I had a comfortable stay. It was very clear from the design of the house that she had considered both comfort as well as practical perspectives for all details. Contrary to most other accommodation, here I truly felt at home. The home was warm (it was a cold night) and cozy, with plenty of natural daylight (but also good curtains and shutters for privacy/darkness). The location was wonderful. It's walking distance from the train station (I came by train from Madrid). It's super close to multiple grocery stores. The village is beautiful and the mountains (recommended for a day trip) are amazing. I truly look forward to go back here some day.

Casa Rural San Isidro is gelegen op 44 km van station Chamartín, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een gedeelde keuken. Good authentic location; in summer you can even have a swimming pool holiday; the pool of the municipality is opened 7/7 in summer months (€7 per person per day (2023)); we went to Madrid by car approx 40 min; friendly people in the town ( if you speak some Spanish ofc). Little supermarket en two local bars available; also at the swimming pool there are snacking options. Room itself was really clean and practical (shower/tv/AC). Would recommend this.
