The apartment was spotlessly clean and included thoughtful touches such as dressing gowns and slippers and fresh morning pastries. Veronica even surprised my two young children with teddy bears which the kids loved. Veronica and Alessandro are brilliant hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. Their local knowledge is great for recommending places to eat (there’s a great restaurant that’s a 7 minute walk away) and areas to visit. The pool and the views are perfect when you want a more relaxed day. Highly recommend staying here if you want a taste of Switzerland and Italy!

Old building (it dates back to 13th century) with modern interior. It is in a quite and tranquil area. Parking is nearby. If you travel with car there are plenty of food choices within few kilometers (on the other side of the lake). The house is so close to the lake - you see it from the windows and when you open the front door, the view is beautiful. Unfortunately it was raining heavily when we arrived and when we were leaving so we could not enjoy a walk. The hosts were very polite, they were waiting for us and gave us a tour of the house, explained how to turn on the heating if needed and gave us an extra blanket. We got a bottle of wine as a gift and chocolate for the morning coffee. The only issue is that we stayed just for one night on our way home - I would spent more time there as the house and the area are really beautiful.
