Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Charming and beautifully restored! Room was large and comfortable. Nice little lobby bar area is great for hanging out. The location in downtown York is perfect, with great restaurants and shops within a block. Parking across the street in the public garage is easy - and free, on weekends!
Downtown historic York is very charming and I liked being able to walk a few blocks to get dinner and close to the Catholic Church. I will definitely stay there again.
The staff was very nice from beginning to end. The room was a great surprise. I honestly wasn't expecting it to have all the amenties it did. A full kitchen, full fridge with an ice machine, dishwasher and fully stocked cabinets with plates and cups. The bed was comfy and the room was clean and quite. We were there for a staycation for my birthday and Im glad I picked this place.
