Cute little 1960's Condo oceanfront in Kihei. Code access. Great location and easy parking. John the property manager, security officer, quarter dispenser, and conch shell entertainer, was super kind and lives on site. Condo's are mostly vacation rentals, but there are a few permanent residents as well. Quiet with easy access to beach, and the outdoor area pristine, John keeps the BBQ's spotless. Now onto the shape of the condo. It could really use a deep clean, and the furniture is old, smells dirty and very uncomfortable. The bed was OK, grateful to have a fan above it. Our stay was late September, our trip purpose was to volunteer, it was hot and humid, the air conditioner was old and did not keep up also was super noisy, living room has a floor and ceiling fan, but that didn't help much. I usually just like the lanai door open and try to catch a cross breeze but none was to be had. Its tropical so there are bugs, not a big deal, just don't leave food out on the counter, some little tiny bugs, smaller than black ants, were very present in the kitchen and bath. The shower was divine, but again dirty with some broken tiles. Loved the location and the outdoor area. The cleanliness/maintenance inside the Condo is really the responsibility of AA Oceanfront Rental who were unresponsive. We would stay there again, but would seek a unit that is managed by another company. Sorry if this is perceived as a negative review, but just telling the truth. We rented because we sought out a local company, but they need to up their game in the cleaning, maintenance department Aloha

Basically quite comfortable and cosy, but not luxurious. One needs to be happy with comfort and cleanliness when aiming for moderate prices. Did love the flower arrangement in room. That was special.
The hosts were incredibly nice and helped me with some mail issues I had while there. The room was nice and cozy, there was also a fridge and a laundry and plates and a coffee machine to use. Clean amenities.
The location was ideal..my daughter's and grandchildren loved it. Their older sister lives in Lahaina and their brother and I live on the east side..The home were cozy and homey. Very comfortable environment..They said they had a very good sleep listening to the ocean waves.
My wife and I stayed stayed at the The Old Wailuku in September 2022 during our first time in Maui and we had a great time. Our room was cozy, the house is well located, the breakfast was really good, and the staff was helpful and nice. We met the owners and they are such a nice couple, they gave us tips of restaurants, roads, and beaches. We would definitely stay here again.

the cottage was secluded and had all of the amenities you could need like kitchen, washer dryer, dish washer, spacious shower, air conditioning, wifi, TV, comfortable linens, many places to sit and enjoy the property. I also enjoyed the mango trees and devoured so many of them!
Very very cute and romantic inn, garden and room. The owners and the stuff was very nice, and the breakfast was delicious. If you had plans and couldn't make it for breakfast, you were able to ask for a "to-go" breakfast.
