Cute little 1960's Condo oceanfront in Kihei. Code access. Great location and easy parking. John the property manager, security officer, quarter dispenser, and conch shell entertainer, was super kind and lives on site. Condo's are mostly vacation rentals, but there are a few permanent residents as well. Quiet with easy access to beach, and the outdoor area pristine, John keeps the BBQ's spotless. Now onto the shape of the condo. It could really use a deep clean, and the furniture is old, smells dirty and very uncomfortable. The bed was OK, grateful to have a fan above it. Our stay was late September, our trip purpose was to volunteer, it was hot and humid, the air conditioner was old and did not keep up also was super noisy, living room has a floor and ceiling fan, but that didn't help much. I usually just like the lanai door open and try to catch a cross breeze but none was to be had. Its tropical so there are bugs, not a big deal, just don't leave food out on the counter, some little tiny bugs, smaller than black ants, were very present in the kitchen and bath. The shower was divine, but again dirty with some broken tiles. Loved the location and the outdoor area. The cleanliness/maintenance inside the Condo is really the responsibility of AA Oceanfront Rental who were unresponsive. We would stay there again, but would seek a unit that is managed by another company. Sorry if this is perceived as a negative review, but just telling the truth. We rented because we sought out a local company, but they need to up their game in the cleaning, maintenance department Aloha

Condo was spacious and we appreciated 2 full bathrooms. THe bed was very comfortable and we especially appreciated all the "extras" the owner provided, ie beach towels, beach chairs, washer/dryer on site, stocked kitchen, WiFi and parking just outside our unit.
I loved the fact we could open all the windows and experience the trade winds and the sunset from the lanai. We were able to walk to many restaurants and the pool was nearby. Overall the space was very nice and well kept.

Excellent communications from the owner. Nice and quiet Conco, accross from the beautiful beach. Beach chairs, snorkel kit, umbrealls included! In the center of Kehei, and you can walk or drive to restaurants, shops etc. It is also just a 10 minutes drive to the beautiful Wailea golf. Brand new washer and dryer. I used the quick wash mode and my load was done in 15 mintes!!!

Location was fantastic. Walking distance to beach across the road which was popular with tourists and locals. Not too crowded which was a bonus.
The condo was next level- very spacious, had everything and more for self catering purposes, beach gear was included and utilised daily. The balcony was perfect for morning coffee and evening drinks. The complex was impeccable and the pool looked great (I did not use it though). I would return to this property in a heartbeat.
Tiki Tiki flat was perfect at all levels, CLEAN and COSY in a perfect location on Maui. Mark and Kate have been full of our attention and very reactive. It’s by far the best housing option to feel home in the island as opposed to highly expensive resorts in the area.

The building was properly staffed, from everything I saw. There was always a friendly person at the front desk, and I could see many employees had been hired to keep the grounds clean. The condo matched the description. There was adequate parking. The beach was as advertised, a short walk across the road. The property maintained a pool and hot tub. There were many gas grills. The elevator was convenient although a trifle slow.
The location was perfect...right across the street from the beach with plenty of shops and restaurants around. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics so cooking was easy. I also liked the fact that beach towels were provided. The pool and hot tub area is cleaned daily so that's a plus...very family friendly.

Decor needs a bit of an update but it had everything we needed
Kitchen had a Mr. Coffee drip coffee maker, plenty of filters in the cabinet. Pots and pans were sufficient for needs. Could see the sunset from the balcony. Balcony is always sunny so it could get warm. Didn't need the heater or A/C as the weather was great. Shower is a decent size and tiled nicely. Good water pressure. Neighbors were queit so that was a plus. Elevator was fast, we didn't have to wait much at all.
The location was great as it was an easy walk to the beach, restaurants and food trucks. You could walk the beaches in either direction. The pool and hot tub facilities were well maintained and provided shower facilities. The lanai faced the water that gifted beautiful sunsets each night.
