Much much better than expected (after reading previous reviews). Cozy place, great neighbourhood! We were 5 people and the place was spacious enough. Be careful not to put all your suitcases and backpacks on the top floor bedroom, because there isnt much space on the floor! Cute backyard, nice place to relax. Spacious living room with some fun board games for you and your friends. All amenities we needed in the kitchen were provided. Hot water 24/7 with high pressure in the bath tub. Some people might not like the style of this historic house, but we liked it. Also it's 2 blocks away from the subway that goes to WTC in 7 minutes. All in all we had a great stay and we missed the place when we left.

We had a really nice stay here. Accommodation was warm and clean, with comfortable beds. Really well located with easy access to subway and shops / restaurants nearby (shout out to wheated which was delicious). Lot of space and nice cooking facilities with a large kitchen and tea/coffee complimentary.

The host is so friendly, the location is convenient (but not so safe), the house is clean, and the WIFI is stable. It is a cozy and comfortable house. We will recommend it if you are not a foreigner.
To be honest, at the beginning, we thought the host will be a guy (the picture showing on her email profile seems to be xd), so we were a bit worried since we did not notice the host will stay in the same house downstairs before we booked it. But, with her kind explanation about that, although we are using the same entrance for the front door, we actually have an independent door and flat that is completely separated! The most important thing is, since we are 2 girls, it is so nice when we notice the host is a she, and she is living with her mother, making us relieved when we arrived.

When we arrived, we were really surprised by the quality of the apartment! It's a bit special to share the bathroom and toilet, but everything was very clean. The apartment has a large kitchen equipped with lots of little snacks and biscuits offered by the host, there's also a nice coffee machine perfect for morning coffees!

We stayed twice - reception staff on our second visit were really friendly and helpful.
Room size was great.
Pool and hot tub were good.
Shuttle service to and from the airport worked well - goes every half hour from P4 no booking needed and then you book with reception for journeys back to airport.
Superb customer service and consideration from the host and staff. They were really helpful and quick to communicate with throughout. The room was cosy and had AC too.
The bed was really cosy. 6 pillows, fine duvet, nice solid mattress . The TV had over 50 channels all working, large room for wardrobe, chilling refrigerator.
The space is well equipped with everything you will need for a great stay. Cabinets were fully stocked with everything. The staff provided extra towels, paper towels, and were very nice professional. The space had alot of nice little touches. We felt safe in the area & the beds are comfortable and linens were clean. I would definitely recommend this place to travelers.
Very nice and cozy apartment, with private toilet, small kitchen and separate bedroom. Great location if you consider to stay out of manhattan, takes 20 min on the subway to reach World Trade Center (lower Manhattan 2,75 dollars). The host Marcelo was always available and answers very fast. I do recommend you Van Buren Gem 2.0

Very large, comfortable and cozy apartment with everything you need. Close to the airport, large parking in the yard, clean towels and a very friendly owner, to whom a special thank you for accepting us with our large group of pets!! I sincerely recommend!!
